That is something of a dilemma and a bit remiss in some ways for you would think that educational institutes would archive information or they would get registered with a government authority.

The only thing I can think of is whether you got a graduation certificate at the time and have that stored away somewhere yourself or with any teaching applications you have made in the past 17 years, have you not had to supply a copy to employers.

But one way or another you do need to have your qualifications evidence and it usually needs to show a years teacher training as well to be assessed by Teaching Australia as a prerequisite to making an immigration application.
I have my certificate but this is not acceptable to Australia authorities. They require information of the course I followed.. phone the College yesterday and they are insisting this information is not available. Feel very let down by my college as this now preventing me from applying. I have references from the two schools that I have taught in but this is not enough. Gutted as already spent £2000 on an agent and I can't proceed beyond the first hurdle. So upset but thank you for replying as your thoughts are obviously valued and I was really chuffed you had replied to me. Thank you for your time. Tat
