What do you think will be the next hot business?
What do you think the next big thing will be? Still the internet? Interactive TV?

I think it is still going to be the internet. The question really is, what will be hot on the internet? Social networking is big now.

I think anything geared to the aging population will be big. Health care, travel, retirement services. A big, big market.

SIC - surgically inserted chips - it'll do away with all the hardware and probably Harvey Norman.

Replacement body parts? Now that they have artificial lenses that can correct farsightedness, it's possible to have your corneas replaced (cataract surgery) to correct your vision. And we already have artificial teeth and joint replacement. All these are, I just realized, for the aging population. So hearing should be next.

Hello,
I would agree with you there. There has been an influx of SN sites.
Personally, i believe too many are doing the same thing...and the whole connection thing "on its own" has reach saturation point.

It's hard to say, but with social networking, super-targeted advertising is available since people display their interests in their profiles.
This is a big improvement for business advertising rather than scattering to sections of irrelivant listeners on radio and television for instance.
