Australia immigration minister says it is safe for Indian students

Changes in visa arrangements should mean easier access for students from India

Indian students wishing to study in Australia should not be put off by stories of violence, Immigration minister Chris Bowen has said.

Speaking during his visit to India he stressed that racist attacks against Indian students in particular which hit the headlines last year were now a thing of the past. [click to continue…]
