A 22-year-old man allegedly caught riding a horse while intoxicated in north-west Queensland has been charged with drink driving.
The man allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.146 while riding a horse in Mount Isa, about midnight (AEST) Monday.
Police said it was a timely reminder that regardless of a person's choice of transportation, all road rules still applied.
The man will appear in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on October 13.

It is a reminder that we have to be responsible in every action we made. He did that so he need to face the consequence of his action.
