What are people going to think of Rudd now?

After the strip club revelation, I was wondering if people are going to start thinking of Kevin Rudd any different. Perhaps he might get some support from the male vote, but most women are likely to be turned off.

Just as Hawke was known for his drinking, Keating with his antiques Rudd will have to wear the strip club label for the rest of his career.

Mr Rudd said he had been embarrassed by the revelation but he and Mr Snowdon had no recollection of any inappropriate behaviour and he had apologised to his wife after the incident.
Reading between the lines a bit, was his apology to firm Mother Teresa for just going or was there an incident he claims not to remember?

Saw a later report on club owner supposedly saying they were there for all of 5 minutes and Rudd didn't even finish a beer as he was in a hurry not to be there.

There might be those who will claim he having been in a club is not a good quality of someone who aspires to be PM but it is the wishy washy way he is claiming no memory that is more pertinent - the bloke has insufficient spine to put his own version of the truth.

I dont know. I mean they may appear to be spineless politicians but after all they all also regular blokes like you and me. Of course its not going to do well to his PM aspirations but it ought not to be taken too seriously.

Last time I checked going to the strip club was not against the law and imho perhaps one would rather have there as PM at least a reasonably regular bloke and not the boy scout leader (not saying current PM is one!)
