Damm Trappings for Methane

What on earth will they unearth next to save us from Global Warming?
World's dams are 'contributing to global warming' | NEWS.com.au
Anybody who has travelled in tropical areas, islands or mainland will be familiar with different smells, and not just open style drains relying on regular rains for a flush out.
Heavy rains in tropical areas often results in large areas of inundated land, wetlands and water logged deltas all with masses of rotting vegetation and that is also supposedly how coal fields of today were formed hundreds of centuries ago.
On top of that, we had better get Swiss and other European farmers top stop stockpiling all that straw and cow manure from barns waiting for right time to plow back into fields - and a walk down a European country village street can be another assault on the nostrils!

Will there be global warming religious wars with the Hindu? - cows ruling supreme and supremos of methane majesty!

For me the earth has changed over many hundreds of decades, cyccling through ice ages and warmer times that nature and humans have adapted to and survived with.
This capturing of methane from dams approach is the icing on the cake of insanity we seem doomed to be served with.

We really haven't a clue what we are doing, do we? Why go after such grandiose and odd ideas when we aren't doing the most basic things? Especially since the most basic things also have other benefits. Reducing car and factory emissions, cutting fertilizer runoff, things like this have long term health benefits, too.
