im coming from france to australia on a year working holiday visa. just wondering if i need to get an international drivers liscence??? also how do i go about getting a tax file number wheni want to work in australia?

You can use an overseas drivers licence when it is in english or otherwise get an International Drivers Permit that is in english and you need to have your licence (current for total time here) and the permit with you.

You just apply for an TFN when here, Australian Taxation Office Homepage and you can do it online but not able to be done until you are here.
