Question De fecto??

Hi all,
I am after some advice please can anone help?
I was born in Oz so am lucky enough to have Australian citizenship, however I live in the UK and am planning to go back to Oz but cant leave my partner!! We have been together for over 3 years but dont live together, we dont have any finacial commitment however we have a car insurance policy together!! does anyone know if we would be able to put in a visa application under the de fecto?? Please help us!!
