Here’s my timeline.
CO was assigned the next day through a generic email stating the name of the CO and asking for medicals and police check. It mentionned if I had lived in Australia for more than one year (add every trip together) for the past 10 years, I must submit AFP check (Australia Federal Police check). Yikes! I phoned customer service in Toronto and they told me to also submit (tedious) Form 80 as well.
So Canadian police chek sent on 27-02-2012 but AFP check still pending.
No Interview, after 4months and 17days of waiting visa granted….Yesssss….Thanks God….

The Aust embassy sent me an email 5 working days after lodging the documents acknowldeging my application at the same time the CO sent a request for my medicals. Done with the medicals, sent by the attending physician electronically. Now, waiting patiently for some good news….

My visa was granted after 3 months but date of initial entry is due next year in March. No interviews .
hi, just wanna ask guys how the CO contacted you? already 1 month now since i applied. no emails from them. I want to have my medicals but there’s no email from them. what to do? thanks
After 4 mos and 3 weeks of applying for defacto visa was granted..GOD is amazing despite our lack of 12 mos living together we manage to give them proof of our love and commitments to DIAC..thank you…travel to OZ is mid July 2013…
