Hello everyone, Me and 2 friends are arriving in Sydney 3rd april basically we have a contiki tour booked from 20th april onwards for 25 days what i want to know is your ideas on whats best to do for the time we are waiting till the tour starts, also good accomodation(cheap mainly) and great clubs in sydney I dont want to know the best music and best woman haha any help would be great

Well, not being a Sydneysider and only an occasional visitor, can't say as I know too much on the clubbing scene but seeing as you've got 17 days to kill, sure you'll become an expert.
If you're looking for cheap accomodation as in hostels, there's heaps of them in at and near the Central Railway Station and spread about other Stdney locations like Bondi, KingsCross and Manly
Have a look at BUG*- Backpackers Ultimate Guide to Australia to see plenty listed.
I rather like the YHA Australia railway square converted railway carriages - great comfy beds, and then Wake-up is a very poular nearby hostel which has its own bar, and there's quite a few in the area.
You'll find that some of the staff or existing hostellers will give you some advice on clubbing etc.

I'd also be looking at getting out of Sydney for a week or so and seeing something of other than where your Contiki tour will be taking you, and plenty of options you'll be able to develop with tourist info available in hostels.

Thanks for the advice, one other thing, we will probably get out of sydney for 5-7 days while where killing time where would be a good place to go which is not hours away and has got good bars and plenty of people we like a good atmosphere so where happy if theres partys 24-7 where not here for sleep just one experience of a life time
