About visa 476 having 570 subclass

I am from Turkey. I have bachelor of Industrial Engineering from METU. I want to apply to the subclass 476 visa but it is hard to find job in Australia without Australia experience. I decided to apply for one-year diploma program in Australia, and visa type may be 570. When I will be in Australia, can I have right to apply for the subclass 476 visa?
In other words, can I have opportunity to apply new visa while having 570 subclass?

Hi Kemalduman,

All student visa has its own conditions, but basically yes you can apply for the skilled migrant after finishing the course if you meet all the basic requirements. Just a wondering, why you need to job in Au? as I know, you can apply for sub 476 without employer nomination.

Cheers,

Cheers,
I decided to apply for sub 476 but if I have opportunity after finishing 1 year education program, I want to apply after finishing an education program, however, to apply for skilled graduate visa, I should finish 2-year education program. I will apply for sub 476, do you know how much time will it take until granting visa?
best regards

Hello
I would like to ask whether you've been granted 476 visa while being on 570?
I'm thinking of applying for 570 first as it will guarantee me the visa quicker and then while being in Australia applying for 476.
Is that feasible? Did you manage to do that? As far as I'm concerned you should be able to get 476 while holding 570. My main concern is whether immis inform you that your visa is awaiting to be granted and that you should leave the country for a certain period of time.
