I had to explain a small misdemeanor charge from when I was 16 from my FBI report. I am happy because this is my first contact with her, after providing my statement she asked for a few clarifications and told me that was all she needed for now. I am pretty sure this wont affect my visa because I wasn't convicted, it was 13 years ago and it was extremely small. My question is, because she has now started to look at my case does this mean I could get a decision soon?

I don't think anyone can answer that outside of your case officer. Hopefully though this is a good sign that activity is happening with your application.

Thanks Moah I appreciate that a lot! I'm sure you are right it is purely up to the CO and that particular situation, but I am just glad she now knows that I exist!

She contacted me today in regards to my medicals, this is a truly good sign!
