Visit visa delay

Dear All,

My wife applied for a visit visa in February 2017. It was refused in the last month of March 2017. Since she also applied for our 9 months baby, the online system (i.e. "immi account") is still showing the status of application (i.e A different TRN number) of baby as "Assessment in Progress"

Although we expect a refusal for this application as well because the mother's visit visa is refused, do we need to let the department know to take a decision on this application as soon as possible.

(Note: We have another application 309/100 in the immi account as well which status is also "Assessment in Progress")

Regards,
Henry
