Hello - Since our CO informed us that our visa application decision has been postponed till 2010 we applied for state sponsorship and my question is are we obliged to inform DIAC or we shall do it if and when the SS application is approved?! Thanks.

I'm not aware bosnian whether the states have a connection of their nomination records to that of immigration and would think not seeing as in normal circumstances a state nomination as an entitrely separate application is applied for even before one submits a visa application.

It'll do no harm to advise your CO of what you're doing and you could ask the question of immi if they will get advice from a state.

Otherwise in the letter to you they say processing of your visa as a state nomination one would commence within ten days of approval being notified.

So good luck with that and just forward copy of the appropriate notification advice when you get it.
