Parents to added as secondary applicants in Immigration application Type 175

Dear All

I am applying for Ausi immigration visa type 175. I want to include my parents (father age 71 and mother age 68) in my application for Australian immigration.

Both are dependant on me. I have two brothers one lives out of city and other is setteled abroad. I am the only one my parents can live with.

I am not sure if I can include my both parents in my application. Thanks

Ali

You could have difficulty getting either one approved as dependants for one of the requirements re dependant relatives is that they are not married.

New Changes for GSM 175

Dear All..

I just have got ACS approval (with MODL- Oracle Specialist). I am planning to take IELTS this month and was determind to launch GSM in March first week or so.

Suddenly I came across shocking news of change of rules...

First of all, can I apply in March 2010 for GSM and still get scores & Priority processing being in MODL & CSL.. OR incase i would apply my application would no longer be enjoying MODL & CSL score+priority processing.

If you look at info on link below, it seems that its OK to apply till rules are not fully enfored (i.e around APRIL 2010). and application would still be processed based on old rules..

I would appreciate your help... Thanks

Ali

The MODL is already revoked and though there is no specific statement I've seen, it was only IT occupation classifications on MODL that were then on CSL.

Without a MODL, certainly no points and it would seem then that IT occupations will not be on CSL.

Have a read of Sticky Thread for more information.
