Hey everyone
My boyfriend & I lodged our 457 visa application back in November last year and in May this year he was refused because there was no "Genuine need" for his building trade here in Perth, My boyfriend has a gardening & construction business previously on a self sponsored 457 and was applying for the extension, as I was on the application as a partner mine was also refused.... we decided we want to appeal the decision in hope that by the time we have the review the building trade has picked up. I just wanted some advice really, has anyone been in a similar situation? Should we be doing anything in preparation for the hearing? We have been on Bridging Visas for over a year now and its starting to take its toll....we could be in for another 15 month wait until we hear anything!
thanks in advance for any reply's....
