As long as you meet the overall relationship requirements and you ( the sponsor) have a divorce certificate and an Australian passport you should be fine to lodge now and add the rest later.
The visa applicant can do the visa medicals and police certificates later.
The sponsor should provide police certificates at time of lodgement or at least some evidence ( receipt) that they have been applied for.
