Irish Family moving to Sydney one Income Help!

Hello everyone
I hope someone can help us please. We are a family of 5, 2 adults, a 12 year old a 4 year old and almost 3 year old. I have been offered a job as a Recruitment Consultant in Sydney on a salary of 65,000 dollars excluding super (plus comm. which is not a certainty and will take 3-6 months before you see this). I am so worried that we wont be able to survive on this the rent for 3a bedroomed places seem to be around the 700 dollars per week (from my research since Jan. 2011). I have heard the LAFHA will assist but I can not find out what is will actually mean to us in real terms net per month. Can anyone advise us on this LAFHA and exactly how I figure this out? Maybe this is not worth much at all and I have been kinda relying on this massively. I cant get excited about moving as I am afraid of taking the children from a bad really bad situation in Ireland to a potentially worse one in Sydney.

My partner will work at some point, however, my job will have high demands in terms of hours for the first 3 months at least so someone will have to mind the children, he will be looking for work in the Bar trade, Anyone know what the earning potential is for this kinda work is?

I really want to be looking forward to this, but I just cant get excited because of the worry, Please help!
