Only we had applied for SC 100 and were expecting to get it as we have been married for over 3 years and have a child together. Is the only difference in visas the ability to claim Centrelink benefits and other things like Commonweatlh supported tertiary study? I don't think these will affect us, but I just want to make sure we are not missing out on something which could benefit us while we still possibly have the chance to ask our CO to reconsider.
You should tell your case officer that you should have been eligible for the 100. It will save you another 2 year wait until it is granted and can make life easier regarding employment etc.
