Read threads returning to bold

Not sure why but periodically random threads I have viewed and am even the final poster in will return to being bold and appearing unread. I can't see a pattern to this sometimes it's an entire page, usually around WA midnight. Other times it's 5 or 6 threads only.

It will alsways be in a block and always go from the most recent.

Have I missed a setting of some sort somewhere?

Whilst I'm here, I see a sticky at the top of the visa section about false and misleading info that doesn't go anywhere but an error page.

Hey,

Have you tried this with any other browser apart from the one you are seeing the problem with? Did you see a difference?

Can you clear your cache and cookies and see if that helps?

Any additional information you can provide will be helpful.

Niall

Thanks for the reply Niall,

I'm using Safari on iPhone, short of going to the library I have no other ways to log in.

What doesn't make sense is how sporadically it occurs, although annoying it doesn't really affect forum functionality.

It also goes the other way too - as if I have clicked "mark all as read" somewhere - which I haven't.

So probably just a glitch with an unusual browser?

Everything looks fine with the sittings of your account from my end. Would you mind sending me a PM with your password, so I use the account the way you are seeing it and see if there's anything strange.

Niall

Niall
I have no idea what my password is! My phone has a password storage system that auto inputs passwords to websites.

You are welcome to change it and I can recover the account if that will work?
