190/ 189 Visa process

I am a fairly new member of the site. Can those who applied for 189 or 190 visa please tell me the process and time lines? I know you submit EOI, get invited and then send documents. Then what happens? At what stage do you have to submit police checks and medicals? Security check as well?

Also has anyone included a divorced parent as dependent? Can I ask the process? What documents did you provide and when?

Thanks a lot

Hi, Police checkups valid for one year. Hopefully case officer accept it or may ask a new one. Medicals you can do straight away as soon as you get case officer.

Coming to parent, I think they are not allowed, may be granted temporary visitor visa that can be extended for a year. All the best

I believe they have to live with you to be classed as dependant. Only being financially dependent doesn't count.
