bridging visa A work rights

Hi could anyone tell me if I can work with new employer while I am on Bridging Visa A ?
At the moment I am on student visa and lodging a 457 working visa next week and my current visa finishing next week too .
So I am just confused if i would be able to work while my 457 visa granted
