Please update your flag here .

both the goverment and the people must act now in order to find solutions for the growing population, not only here in australia but on other parts of the world. over population badly affects nations specially who are consider 3rd world country wherein most of the people who are poor have really doesnt have enough money to buy for their own necessity yet there still increasing.. the goverment should find solutions and create plans in order to lessen the effect of over population and the people should be more discipline and responsible in taking their actions...

From my reading the biggest problem is water. If that isn't solved the population won't be able to grow.

[QUOTE=Wanderer;15321]It is not surprising that politicians are showing their usual love of sport in making a football out of this and that is partially the problem with all governmental action - democracy means a governments prime interest for much of their term and especially towards the end of a term will always be to win the next election.

Australia national football team isn't good enough even in Asia, they couldn't get a champion and also beat Japan and South Korea

Friendly speaking, Our goverment should manage the utilities itself not let the private companies taking the responsibility at all, I have been to Shanghai China several times, it's really a huge city with 22 millions people living in it, their goverment arranged the utilities well

Dare I say,Australia could contain over 100 million population for the size of the contry.
the goverment should allow more skilled people and more investment into Australia
