Angry Is engineering no longer a need in Australia? :O

Hi,

I'm Metallurgical and Materials Engineer and as well as Welding Engineer. Currently on visa subclass 420. Have 8 months of experience on this field and nothing more. I can't seem to find a job as an engineer. What's going on? Is Australia in no need for engineers anymore? Could anyone tell me what's up with this? I've been seeking for a job for 3 months and no results. So frustrating. Can anyone kindly help me?
