Permanent Part time guaranteed hours

Itís been a while since Iíve visited the site. Iíve juggled myself between work and housework. Itís pretty busy life and itís how it is to live and to survive. Iím currently working on a part time basis with a guaranteed hours. Itís pretty good for few months, always covering shifts when someone call in sick and personal leave etc. I feel really down this time when I saw my roster. My hours has been cut and itís below the hours Iíve signed up for. Iím hesitant to talk to my supervisor because I donít want him to think that Iím pushy. Is anyone in this thread had similar issues? I donít know if I shouldíve talk to my supervisor or just move on. TIA for any thoughts and advises!

In your contract that you signed does it mention the minimum guaranteed hours? I know that not all places have it on the written contract.

You could always just talk to your supervisor casually and just say something like "I just wanted to make sure everything is okay as I thought I would get atleast x (whatever the number of hours are) a week" and then see what they say.

1. Yes it does. That’s why I’m lil bit confuse as to why my hours has been cut. I’m really flexible and doesn’t mind with few mins changes. I don’t know what put him off.

2. I will gonna talk to him soon and ask him.
