Secondary teacher requirements on 309 Partner visa

Hi there

My wife and I have applied for a 309 visa quite awhile back and we're expecting it to come through this year sometime for her. In the meantime, we'd like to get any checks in place so that she can apply for jobs etc before or as she arises.

She is a Secondary School Biology teacher and we're not too sure on the Aus schooling system, so are there any steps that she needs to take to get her qualification recognised? Secondly, are there any certificates etc that she'd need to apply for before she can apply for work?

Thanks!
