I mate, the Mrs took off back in Feb, still wants to live in Australia with her kids so is trying to claim domestic violence. So we are doing the court thing at the moment.

Moved to Cairns and doing 60 hr weeks, so not on here as often. But have got a few days off now over next few weeks.

    No problem.

Yes very bad information in relation to the PMV, while he may blow his money following that advice it may turn out best in the end.

    Best of luck.

hi there I want to personally thank you for your replies regarding my brother. This situation has put a lot of stress on our family. It is hard to see something you care about be so obviously taken advantage of. The information you have provided has cleared up a lot of points we were wondering about. They seemed to be given very wrong information. But alas you try and tell my brother that , he wont believe you. The only person he belives is her. The applying for the PMV 2 months out from getting married seems to be the biggest doozy. Were just hoping it all falls over so he can return to therapy and we can repair our relationships. Whilst she is in the picture he is almost impossible to talk to. Thanks again

There is no re apply limit of 10 days or any. The only limit is more time in other country than Australia over I think 2 years. A Multi 6 month is basically a 12 month in Australia Visa and you have already 3 months.

But PMV is likely to be decided before a issue for DIBP. No harm in trying they will approve, reduce visa or refuse visa.

But I would had medicals and police docs done before application of 6 month multi.

    Hi ampk,

We currently have a PMV in assessment, submitted July 19th, My fiance has been here on a 3 month single entry tourist visa since August. She goes home Nov 13th and her tourist visa expires Nov 16th. We have plans for her to go to the embassy in Bangkok on the 16th to apply for a 6 months multi entry tourist visa while we wait for the PMV. Do you know if there is a limit on how long she has to be back in Thailand before she can be given the new visa? Its normally a 10 day wait for the grant notice after she goes to the embassy

    Thank you

    Jarrod

I used Mark a while back - but have heard he is very busy.
Nick from CCMS, Jeremy Hooper and Westly Russell also post on here often and are good Registered Migration Agents - they have a link to contact them below their agent number in their posts.

Also search this forum "PAM3" and think I put old and out of date. This is what Case Officers use to pass/refuse Visitor Visa applications.

Thanks so much for your reply! That's such a great news because I don't live in a city where DIBP have their biometric centre at. I'm just applying for a short term visit visa (in the refused application, I actually applied for only 3 weeks). I listened to you and trying to engage a migration agent to help me reapply. I contacted Mark because he seems to know this whole visa stuff really well. But he hasn't replied if he could assist me . I know you're not an agent but would you mind telling me your opinion if I brief you on the documents I intend to use to reapply this time? I have been away from my boyfriend for half a year. Because of our work commitment, we can't travel out very often to see each other. So I'm seriously quite desperate trying to get this visa. Just wanna see him for 3 weeks and go back to my work

Biometric will be valid for 12 months, we did not do any medical till after PMV application. So we had some approved without medical, and others (12 month Visitor Visa) after medicals.
