Please I really need your help.. I read somewhere on the forum you have had some experience with visitor refusal 3 times. mine has been refused twice on the basis of unemployment. please can you guide me somehow, how did you manage to get it approved finally. and how much time gap did you give in between each application. PLEASE YOUR REPLY WILL MAYBE HELP ME REUNITE WITH MY HUSBAND. i will look forward to your reply.
Oh great, I just got a little worried having seen your comment! It does have a 3months stay and I'm still weighing up any options I have but its looking like I may return after the 3months and consider moving up our plans for a PMV which means it might not be an issue.
Thanks for all the help!
Hey ampk, I noticed in one of your comments you mention a '12 in 18month thing'. What exactly is this and could you go into some more detail? Is it a real rule or just a guideline immi follow? I did a full WHV in the last 18 months and have since been granted a Tourist 600 visa (date of entry starting 2 months after last leaving Australia). If I really can't spend over 12 months in the country over an 18 month period I will likely go over this during my allowed stay period. Seeing as I have had it granted will everything be fine or can this throw up an issue at the border or before I board a plane?
On your thread it is public - these are private.
You will be fighting a losing battle at this stage I guess, they are stubourn pricks in DIBP. For us to get to application stage for a 820 Partner Visa from the first Visitor Visa refusal was around $80,000 - that included the 2 kids.
Happy to show yow one of our Visitor Visa submission letters - but you need to keep it private and confidential.
