I know I saw your posts - thats amazing! You're one of the lucky ones! Maybe my application is more complicated than yours - hmmm I wonder how it all works on level 3 of the Sydney office...?? My friend handed his in in April and hasn't heard a thing - both of us have been living with our partners for less than the required 12 months but have got relationship registers - maybe that's a factor. Anyway fingers crossed! I'm hoping to have it approved in 6 months - thats what I've mentally prepared for!

    Hey Jenn,

As promised here is my news! My visa got approved yesterday! Can you believe that? If yours hasn't been approved yet it should be any day now. Am stoked it only took 5 working days.

Let me know how you go!

    Morning Jenn.

Yes I am based in Sydney (live in Abbotsford, work in the CBD). I am applying for my defacto, apart from the obvious reasons, but also to be able to work wherever I want. I currently have a 457 sponsorship visa and my job sucks and I'm bored as hell.... hence me being able to be on this forum all day long! :-)

    Lets keep in touch!

    Have a fabulous day.

    Hi there,
Let's stay in touch... you lodged your application two days before mine so at least if you hear something it'll be promising for me and vice-versa! :-)
    Cheers,
Nicki (my name is not actually "francesco totti".... I use an alias as I think immigration check the forums and I wouldn't want to be quoted on anything.... paranoid I know)! :-)
