Thanks Hass, dont worry that India timeline, Nairobi wont get that far (35 weeks). India is one of most populated country on earth, so they have alot of applicants who want to come to Australia. I am assuming 20 weeks max for someone to look at your file (CO). Also let me know the requirement for 600 visa, if its work for you and I may do it for my wife too. take care brother

    Dear James,
Thanks for the greeting bro. I am in Nairobi. My process is still silent. I am waiting for the Nairobi AHC to contact me.

Mine is only 3 months old. I have lodged on 15th July 2014. Compare to the posts the forum members are posting on this forum, I am not even near to be contacted. Most, they said that CO allocation is the turning point of any partner visa application.
And this happens after 35 weeks from the day the application is lodged.

But I have applied today a Visitor Visa Subclass 600. It usually takes 15 days to receive a grant letter or a reject letter.

If I am lucky enough,I will receive the visa and will be coming to Brisbane where my wife and her little daughter live.

I wish a quick grant of your family's visa bro.

    Kind regards,
    Hassan
