75% of applications get an answer in under 19 months. Some in under 1 year. It depends on many factors. 15% are done between 19 months and 22 months. Another 10% take over 22 months.

All it does it waive the 12 months living together requirement. You still need to have enough evidence to show that you are in a genuine and continuing relationship.
