    Hey there,
First time I've been on here for a long time & I'm so sorry to here you're not having a great time in Oz
I'm on the Gold Coast myself and I can see how finding a job here can be seriously difficult (I'm working remotely for my UK company, otherwise I'd probably still be job hunting too...). Fingers crossed you manage to resolve your situation!

Hi there, we are still in the UK, waited 3 months before we heard anything from the date we applied for my visa. I was finally sent for my medicals. I am undertaking those on the 18 of Sept. They said it will take 8 to 9 months from the date of lodgement of our application. So we have another 6 months to go.. well maybe they will grant it faster. Also will need couple months to sort out everything here in UK and hopefully by April or May the latest we will be in AU. How are you guys?

We're using SevenSeas - they've got a "MoveCube" container which is the perfect size for us - not too big. They aim to have shipped just under 12 weeks, from what I remember. So we'll have a bit of a wait for our belongings, but there's nothing in there we can't live without.

Good luck with your job search!

It's all a bit crazy! Packing boxes & shipping in about 3 weeks time. And trying to sort out work, flat etc. all at the same time... But making lots of progress - lots of items ticked off the list
    How about you?

Grand its a waiting game now. My medical was delayed because my little brother had tb years ago. So hopefully won't affect the time too much.

When you guys planning on going?

    Hey,
Yup, medical and police checks all done! Medical went through about a week ago and just posted the police checks today. So the waiting begins again...
What a relief though to know that the medical didn't bring up anything unexpected.

How are you doing? How's your application going?

    Hey there,

Sorry, I managed to stay away from the forum during the holidays
I'm great - starting to get really excited about planning for Oz.
Nothing new with the application though since the email from the CO. Now waiting a couple more weeks before I can book my medical for February.
And I'm still collecting evidence like crazy - you never know! :P

Hope all is good with you & your application.
