Greetings from a newbie..

Hi everybody..im already so very inspired by all the stories shared on this forum..me and my partner (he's australian living in melb and im indonesian living in jak) are also preparing our application and hopefully it will not be a painful journey
My partner suggested we use an agent to handle the application from aus, and asked me to send all my documents there. Is he able to do that, i mean apply onshore while im living offshore?
Our problem, I'd imagine, would be about giving evidence of our relationship since we do live apart even when we have been in relationship for almost 3 years now. We dont have a joint account or anything like that, but we do travel together and visit each other and we have all kinds of receipts and pics taken.
Also, do you think its worth it to have an agent or is it better to do the application yourself? Everyone's application here seem to be so straight forward while we are so overwhelmed by all of this.
I hope that someone could shed some light into my questions, thanks so much in advance.

cheers!
