Visas 801/820

Good morning,
I am very new to this, but looking forward to meeting new people with similar stories. I am an Australian citizen, and my American partner arrived a few weeks ago on a Visa 300. We are now married and are about to go through the process of applying for 801/820 visas. A quick question seeing we have supplied information for Visa 300 medical police check, all family details, do we still have to supply that for these visas?? Would love to hear any feed back.

Hello Symseals, there is a search option and if you type in 801 for example will search the threads involving that visa . http://www.australiaforum.com/visas-...ing-group.html

You might not need to provide police certificates if you hold a Prospective Marriage visa (subclass 300).

cheers

Hi, new to this board also. Aussie citizen, sponsored my Canadian partner for his 801 visa granted Feb 2015.
Are you lodging online?
If you have a copy of the police check still, then its probably best to include it on the application anyway, better that than them asking for it later and delaying the process. We had to have a new one done for the 801, as it expired after the 820 was lodged and they requested a new one. this delayed the process by about 31 days. Always better to give more than less, IMO. Feel free to ask any questions of me, as I have just been through this! successfully! what a relief. Good luck!

Hello symseals, coming from PMV, you don't need to provide police check and or medicals again as it is alredy included in your PMV application. Good luck on your 820 application
