They can be scanned and uploaded that's no problem
I did that a few forms, like form 80, the form 888's, relationship statements, etc.
There's no need to post anything in hard copy when you apply online.

If you apply online everything is uploaded online - nothing is physically posted to IMMI

Hey Guys, just some more questions (we tried calling the German embassy but they are down! So annoying!)

1. Do i need a health check coming from Switzerland?

2. If I need a health check, is it better to do it before you submit the visa application? We called the doctor listed on the immi website, and they said they didn't know what to do! What should we do in this situation?

3. Where do we pay the money to?

4. What documents need to be shown to a notary public?

5. What documents need to be translated?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry one more question!

6. On the PMV application it asks: Which countries have you visited (for any period of less than 12 months) during the last 10 years? Then you have to list when and for what reason you travelled.

I live in Basel, Switzerland so I have travelled to Germany and France a million times! What do I do in this situation? Maybe only include countries I have needed a visa for?

Yes.

You will here different opinions on that. I did mine before I applied for the visa, others wait until the medicals are requested. You can also just wait a few months and then get your medicals done. The reason for this is that they are only valid for 12 months and in case they expire you MIGHT have to do them again.
What do you mean "they didn't know what to do"? Are there any other doctors near you who you could contact?

I paid it in the practice.

4. What documents need to be shown to a notary public?
I believe the form 888 if they aren't written by Australian citizens/PRs (keep in mind you need at least 2 of Australian citizens/PRs)

5. What documents need to be translated?
Basically everything that's not in English e.g. birth certificate, maybe police check (mine from Austria was in German and English), we even got parts of our bank statements translated.

Hope this helps a bit!

Yes it does! you're great for replying so fast!

Question 3. I meant who do we pay the visa application charge to? On the immi website it says to contact your embassy but I can't contact them!

Sorry In regards to the notary public,

Do copies of my birth certificate, passport and police check need to be signed by a notary public to confirm they're true copies of the original?

When you apply online you just pay the fee with your credit card - at least that's how it worked onshore.

Re notary public: No, you'll don't need to get these certified if you have good quality colour scans.
