Hi, we are Will and Sim.

We are about to apply for an on shore Partner visa (sub 820/801) in the coming weeks. Will is over here on a Working Holiday Visa (sub 417) and it runs out Oct 13th, Sim is getting very nervous, mainly because we didn't realize just how much stuff we needed to include and time is running short.

Expect more posts if we hit a brick wall!

Hi there

Welcome. Just make sure if you're applying de facto, and you are counting the 12 month requirement from the day he arrived, that he applies on the last day of his WHV. If you're married, then you can apply any day.

In the last couple of months we have seen many partner visas being granted on the forum, including my husband's , so just know that if you are in a genuine relatioship, you will be granted the visa. The government only wants to find out who is lying.

Don't stress, the hard part of organising the evidence is over, just the wait now. Let us know if you need any help!
