Hello from Las Vegas!

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum, so thought I'd pop in and say hi and introduce myself!

About me: I am originally from Hawaii and have lived in a number of states in the U.S. I recently graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Geology, but have also worked in business as a business analyst/systems analyst.

I'm now looking to move to Australia to work as a geologist in the mining/engineering industry. I've looked at the many jobs available and am hoping to move to Brisbane, since there seems to be a lot of opportunities there. If anyone has any advice for someone needing sponsorship or knows companies looking for geologists, please let me know!

What I am most looking forward to is meeting other people on this forum and learning more about Australia.

I look forward to reading everyone's posts, and if there's anything I can do for anyone on this end, please feel free to let me know!

Hi again!

I just wanted to post an update that Lester Associate will sponsor my 457 Visa if I am able to get a position on their list with a company! Yay! I still need a job, but am happy that I have a sponsor, if needed.

Hope everyone's is enjoying their week!

Well done Firefly44.
I rarely say this, but I'm "jelly" (jealous). J/K, but I really am. Good luck & remember those left behind, in the states. ~sigh~
