Smile Proof of funds for 189

Dear members

Can someone please advise if we need to show proof of funds for a PR under the new skillselect program, if so how much. I could not find any information in this regard on the immigration website. I would also like to know if there is a cap to each skill as in is there a limit to the number of applications they'd accept each year for a particular skill.

I would appreciate if you could kindly add the giv website link to support your answer.
Thanks
Newbie !!
