Hi!

Hi everyone!

I'm new here! Planning to migrate to Australia at the beginning of next year. My partner is an Australian citizen (I'm Polish) and I'll be applying for Prospective Marriage visa so I'll probably need lots of your advice

Cheers!
Gosia

Hi! Yeah i am an Australian male and my girlfriend is Polish. We applied for the 2 stage partner visa 309/100 where after two years they check you are still together and change it to a permanent visa. She can work and use medicare immediately. We applied on the 7th Feb 2012 and the visa was granted 22 days later on the 29th!
We're so excited because we wanted to go as soon as possible but didnt think it would be ready for months.
We just prepared the application really well and presented it neatly. We sent the police check up front which had to be done by mail from Warsaw and we did the medicals at the ehealth clinic in Warsaw as soon as we had the "HAPid" number they sent us.

We're living together in Sosnowiec at the moment and we're going to Australia in the beginning of April after we go around to Warsaw and Wroclaw and say bye to friends and Ewa's family. Are you and your partner living together now? Where are you from in Poland? We're happy to meet for a coffee if we're nearby or send me a message on here. We'll be living in Sydney if you're there next year and missing someone to speak in Polish with.

Good luck and keep in touch!
