Hello everyone

HI Everyone,

I'm Krystel, I'm French and have been living in Australia for nearly a year now.

Unfortunately, my working holidays is coming to an end early March and i am now in the process of looking into the different options my Australian fiance and I have for me to stay in this country.

I came to Australia because I needed a change and was not expecting to find anything I really liked. Oh how wrong I was.

I have fallen in love with this country and would like to make it my forever home. I have always travelled a lot and it's the first time in many year I feel home.

I've also falen in love with a wonderful Aussie man who proposed on NEw Year's eve.

We're now trying to find the best way around for me to stay here, allowing us to do things right i.e. not get married in a hurry which would probably just look as a "visa wedding" which is far from what we're looking for.

We are thinking of applying for the prospective wife visa which means I'll have to go back to France for a while but after reading all the success stories in the immigration threads, I'm hopeful it won't take too long to get approved.

Other than that, well, not much. I work in finance but I don't enjoy it much and I'm hoping that once I have my visa sorted, I can start my life afresh and work in a field I really love.

That's it from me.
Have a good day everyone.
