New to forum..

I'm new here, my name is carlos and I live in south carolina, usa. It has been a dream of mine for years to live in australia..just seems like the kind of place I want to be. That is of course just a perception as I have not visited yet. I dream of owning a small plane and flying tours over the outback..i am not a pilot but thats my dream anyway. Anyway, how hard is it to get a job where a company sponsors your work visa? I have experience in information technology and also in architecture..is that doable or should I look to get there on my own and then find whatever I can?..let me know what you think..this is all still in the "dream" phase so if the questions are stupid thats why..no basis in research yet..thanks.

I just found this site. I have a lot of digging to do. Pointers on where to look will be appreciated.
I'm 45. My Wife is 51 & our Daughter is 17.
We are Texans.
Oz is too far & too big for a visit.
Working & living there would be an adventure for us.
I would guess Carla & I would retire back to Texas after a decade or so.
Sky could certainly end up staying.
We are looking for a step by step guide just like anyone would. Liquidating our established lif here won't be easy. We have some research to do so; drop us a line.
It's Cheers isn't it?
