Moving to adelaide from dubai

Hi all,

My wife and I are making the first port of entry under our Temporary Residency permit to Adelaide in May. We are very nervous and excited. We both have masters degrees in media and hope someone can provide us clues to finding jobs that will helps us settle down to our new life down under.

Cheers.

Have you sorted out your stay and some possibilities of jobs in Adelaide?

I myself, may move in June to Adelaide.

Best regards

Hi there,

Stay has been sorted with an acquaintance. We are only there for two weeks as we don't want to let go of our jobs in Dubai until we get some sort of lead in Adelaide.

Cheers,
Adkutz

Looks like a wise move under tough GFC situation looming over Aussie job market.

Hi,

It is that bad, eh? Even in Adelaide? Don't have much choice as definitely don't want to raise kids in a Gulf Country environment. Rather struggle in down under that be a third class citizen here.

Well to be honest, it is not about bad or good, it is more about opportunities, depends what sort of qualification/experience you have. Where originally you are from?
