Kiara, what do you mean by broken family?
For your information you have no access to anyone's legal status unless you're authorised to exercise the check.

Which visa are you applying or intend to apply for?

Thanks for your reply
I'm Australian citizen, my husband got onshore partner visa refused ( could not meet schedule 3) now he is offshore and will apply again
I have 2 brothers who were also in Australia. One of them got visa
Cancelled (he never told family members the reason) he now left Australia.
Second brother is in Australia but gives vague answers about his visa
Status. We talk very rare. Like once in a while.
Now I want to call my mum on visitors visa600 to see her granddaughter (my 7 month old), I will help her fill
Out form 1419 and it asks for relations in Australia.
What do I do?

You have the option to write unknown for their whereabouts, which in essence won't require you to declare their status in Australia.
