Post Planning to move to Ausie

Hi friends, Im a mining engineer from India, with one year underground field experience, 6 months vocational training experience and have a second class competency certificate for mine manager with gas testing and a voucher in first aid. Im a university rank holder for Mining engineering. Right now I'm in UK, completed Masters in Business Management.
Im planning to move to Australia as there is a high scope for mining engineers and there is a huge demand for skilled labours in this sector.
I just need few information about the start-up, visa process and how exactly to approach companies and what will be the cost of living and how long on average will it take to find a job in this fascinating field.

Kindly provide me some valuable details.... Thanks in advance
