Hi all....

Hi All,

I am Sumathi from India, currently in melbourne since April 2015.

This is my first thread in this forum.

I need some suggestion, i am basically from a IT background having total 9+ years of experience in (Mainframe technologies and testing(just 2 years). I have started posting my resumes, but i dont get calls back. Always email i get is "Your resume is unsuccessful".

Here mainframe jobs are mostly given only to citizen since i hold a PR visa i cannot apply for it. So i started applying entry level developers/testers/administration/data entry roles and so on. I could see very few openings.

Also enrolled for "Diploma in early childhood education", and the classes have started. I do see some openings for childcare educators. Hoping for the best. But most of the time feeling bad and irritated.

Sorry for the long post... felt like sharing...

Sumathi,
Sorry to hear about your situation, but stay positive, when you have sent your email and get your Żour resume is unsuccessful', have you replied to their email for positive feedback, about :

1). How can I improve my resume.
2). Make my application more appealing.
3) Do you have a elist or similar
4) Have you noted any of the companies details in your application? displaying your research of the company etc?

Just some suggestions cheers and good luck
