newbie from phils

hi!i'll be lodging my Partner Visa application hopefully by the end of August..My husband and I are still completing docs to support our claim that the relationship is genuine and continuing. We find it hard to produce evidences as to the nature of household aspect since we're married Jan 2012 and he moved to Australia last Feb 2012 with the PR visa. We only had exactly a month together as married couple. Can you please help me guys?Kindly suggest possible evidences to support our claim based on your experiences..Thank you very much!

You mentioned you were married? Do you have docs to prove this? Wedding photos? You can also get declarations from friends & family to support your claims. Most of all, Australia recognizes legal marriages from other countries, with the exception of polygamous marriages that is.

Goodluck with your partner visa.

Ye, we're married on January 2, 2012. We have the marriage certificate and wedding photos..I read from the Partner migration booklet that we need to provide evidences as to the nature of the household. Various examples are stated but we don't meet any of them since we only lived together as married couple for a month for he left for Australia on February 2, 2012. We didn't rent a house since we stayed at their family house. His parents paid the electric bills. Kindly advise on what evidences should we provide aside from those enumerated in the booklet. Thanks

As much as you can, to prove the genuine marriage. If you can't provide certain documents or evidence, write a brief statement explaining why. Have some members of the family or close friends or respectable people in the community to affirm this.
