I still call Australia HOME

I am an Australian citizen, working overseas since the last 5 yrs. Now in India. Came to India in 2007, basically to be with my parents, during their last few years.

I married in India in 2009. My wife is an Indian Citizen.

I miss Australia - so much. I plan to go back to Australia.

Please advice, what I need to do and the possible options and the processing time required - so that my wife can accompany me. (I am
applying from India).
--------------------------
I wrote to Austrilian High Commission 'immigration' and obtained some information links and could figure out that:
- My wife has to apply 47SP, Wife Migration [spouse relationship - the Partner Visa (subclass 309 & 100)]
- I have to apply 40SP, Sponsorship
- I can go to Australia (if Job Offers, so demand) after lodging an application for a 'Partner Visa application', I may meet the criteria for a Tourist Visa for my wife (subclass 676) [since, Wife migration VISA processing may take > 6 months]

Please help...if 47sp & 40sp are Partner Migration subclass 309 & 100
Also, Can I take my wife in Tourist Visa, in the meantime.
Another Thing: What is the difference between applying through VFS Global and Applying directly to Australian High Commission.
