Partner visa

Hi guys

I'm new here and would like to know some answers to my question.

I am a student visa holder in Melbourne studying. Recently an issue struct me and I performed terribly in studies and now the university has excluded me from the institute. I have got the letter from the institute mentioning I'm no longer enrolled and have been notified to immigration?

I however decided to get married to my girlfriend who Is PR holder of oz. we have been
Together and in live now for about two years now.

What I want to know is how should I rectify this issue with immigration in spite of my student visa being in trouble now and at the same time applying for partner visa?

Please help me out with this situation as I'm very worried and would not want to lead my partner here by herself.

Will the immigration accept my partner visa application knowing that I have been troubled with my student visa?

Thanks for your views and opinions.

Sincerely

Sonny

Hi sonny,

Before they depot you, try to put spouse visa on the basis of your defecto relationship. than you dont have to worry about your study part, you will be on bridging visa, you will not be on student visa any more after you lodge your visa application.

Hi Nero

Thanks for replying. We are thinking of getting married and applying for partner visa.

However I was told that once your student visa is cancelled by UNi, they will notify the immigration and immigration will issue you Section 20 notice where by you will be given about 20 days to reply to them in relation to why your student visa should not be cancelled.

I still have not received that, so do I need to wait for that or I can just apply for partner visa anyway?

Thanks a lot!

I would recommend better to apply for Spode visa rather than waiting.

Condition might get worse, so it's better to do it.
