Smile british female decorator looking to work and live in australia

Hi there,

My name is Natasha, I'm 32 years old and from the uk, I am looking into
getting a 1 year working visa, but the problem is my age, does anyone know how and if I can go about applying for a visa of some sort, which will enable me to work for a period of time to start of with.
I am a self employed painter and decorator and run my own business, but I have no qualifications in the trade, just time served which is 7 years.
I trained with a small decorating company for over 1 year when i first started but then moved on to work for myself and I have done since then.
Can I still qualify for a skilled trade? What kind of information would I need to provide? If not is there any other way I could I get a working visa.

I would be so grateful for any advice.

Many thanks
Natasha

Depending on your country of citizenship, you might be able to secure a Working Holiday Visa which doesn't require any qualification. You also might qualify for investor or business visit visa.

If you are younger than 31 you should qualify for Working Holiday Visa. There is a range of visas for british nationals see the visa wizard on Department of Immigration & Citizenship

This info may not be correct or the correct place to post this but obtaining a New Zealand working visa entitles the holder to work i Australia (you'll need to check and verify)
