Hi All,
i am very new to this place, so please be nice ......
i have gone to many consultants in UK and Aus but everyone has a different opinion.

I have been working as a mechanic since 1998 after the school for few years and then i took part time job as production supervisor in 2002. I left the job as a mechanic in 2008 and has been working as production supervisor since then full time.

1. Applied for permanent residency in 2007 as a mechanic. Got skills assessment and but visa was rejected in 2008. The rejection was due to negative telephonic enquiry at my workplace as i told full time in application and the workshop manager confirmed me as a part timer. Never bothered to take the case forward as i was happy with other job.
2. never mentioned my production supervisor job in that application. I have done few on the job certificates and courses back in 2006.
3.Now more keen to work in Australia, can i apply for production supervisor now as a state sponsored candidate. I am worried that i haven't told them nothing about experience in previous application.

My question is:
Do they match details from new application to previous data?

every expert has a different view, Some say that the data remains on the system forever and others say won't make any difference to new application.
Please guide as bit

My guess is that they can do, but whether they do or not may depend on individual applications.

That may be the reason for the differing answers that you get.

A visa being rejected previously may not affect a new application IF the original problem has been resolved, and no longer affects the new application.
